The Westin is a stunning resort

The Westin is a stunning resort set in a beautiful location. The resort is vast but doesn’t feel busy or overcrowded, this allowed for a very restful stay. Lots of options for dinner, food was very high standard, including the buffet breakfast and dinner. The facilities are exceptional with plenty of activities for kids of all ages. The beach is stunning and the waves perfect. We would definitely go back.

The whole holiday was amazing. The staff in the hotel were so riendly and nothing was too much trouble. For future travellers I would say book B&B basis as the 2 local towns Gialova and Pylos have exceptional, and resonable restaurants. The are is up and coming. The Golf is superior to lots of other courses and seeing as Greece isn’t known for its golf it was a welcome suprise.
Would 100% recommend

Thank you for all your efforts in arranging this holiday. We had a fabulous time and the resort was fantastic with so many activities. The kids had a great time and the spent lots of time water skiing, kayaking, scuba diving, rock climbing and swimming. Everything was so accessible. It was the holiday we needed and we really couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you again for all your running around to arrange this, very much appreciated.

Very pleasantly surprised by the Westin, Costa Navarino. We stayed in the Westin in Malta which was a bit tired and souless. This one was first class. Great facilities, customer service, very well appointed rooms, excellent food, albeit we tended to eat out at local tavernas.

We were really impressed with this hotel…

We were really impressed with this hotel. The layout and design of the property is first class, low rise and done in a very sympathetic way to the area – looks very pretty. The staff were exceptional. I mean exceptional. Not one was bad. From front of house to chefs to maids to entertainment they all engaged with guests and a `nothing is too much trouble` attitude came through strongly. This was a major success of the holiday. The facilities were great. Being able to wander into a sports hall to knock a football around or pick up a table tennis game or jump onto a waterslide with pretty much no waiting around even in the height of the summer season was great. They don`t pack too many people into this resort – that is an important factor. The food was also surprisingly good. We thought we`d need to eat at the main restaurants in the evening as I assumed the buffet option would be just `so so` and we`d get bored of it after a couple of nights. That was not the case. The buffet quality and variety was highly impressive – that includes the buffet breakfasts. All our family really enjoyed the food – and we`re big foodies. The last 2-3 days (30th/31st Aug and 1st sep) we did notice a slight decline in quality of food and a noteable drop in the number of staff – I guess that`s a sign of them winding down for `off season` so I would be slightly concerned going here outside of peak. It was still very good though, just one notch off the exceptional that it was on the other days. The beach wasn`t my favourite place – it was very steep into the sea (not ideal for the young kids as it goes from about 3 foot to 6 foot deep within the space of a couple of feet). Also rather than fine golden sand it was more like tiny shells. That said it was perfectly acceptable and we enjoyed a good few sessions there. We had a walk along the beach at about 9pm with the kids after dinner which was a delight. Lots of people were being transported by golf buggies but we found we didnt need this and walked everwhere – it really wasn`t far to get to anywhere. Climbing wall, go karting and kids club were all fantastic. My kids wanted to go to kids club more (they did 4 afternoons). We had a family suite which is basically a sitting room with a connected bedroom whereby the sitting room turns into the kids room. Not ideal but it was fine and we didnt spend much time in the room apart from sleeping. I would highly recommend this hotel – it was truly fantastic.
We loved it and would definitely go back…

Lovely hotel and well designed. The Infinity Suite was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The restaurants were all of high quality and the service was excellent throughout. The golf course was also excellent as were the staff. The resort is expensive and pool bar food overpriced. Every activity was charged for to excess we felt which out of principle stopped us from taking part such as go karting 40 euros for ten minutes and 9 euros for a game of pool. The local wine was on sale in the deli for 13 euros but the restaurants charged double and most annoyingly in some restaurants they charged more than others for the same bottle. There was also a charge for residents to use the driving range which considering we had booked a round we felt it was excessive. There wasn`t a turndown service which was surprising and also water wasn`t free which for a resort of this standard we felt it should have been. However we loved it and would definitely go back. Thank you Travelbeam!

We travelled here in mid August and had the most wonderful time. The hotel setting is lovely. Facilities were many & varied. The pools were all lovely, clean etc. Beach was a short walk and stunning with plenty of beds and lovely clear water although got a bit windy at times. Restaurants were all good although service old be slow at times. The central square is well designed and has a good atmosphere in the evening. Rooms comfortable although as we had 3 in each room more wardrobe/drawers would`ve been good. The views are gorgeous. All in all a really well designed and great resort. Food and drink a little pricey but apart from that a thoroughly fabulous holiday.
Staff fantastic, service amazing…
