Sheree helped us book a luxury holiday at Sani Beach resort Greece and was extremely helpful throughout the process. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to use Travelbeam’s services in the future.

Staff were wonderfully helpful and accommodating…

Travelled alone to Sani Beach Hotel with SEN 11-year old (2nd visit) and hotel could not be more helpful. Got a quiet room as we asked (albeit on fifth floor and we could still hear the White Party on a Thursday night) but it had a lovely view. Staff were wonderfully helpful and accommodating and bent over backwards if we had an issue (rare and minor). Rooms could do with strong reading lights but otherwise fine. Food is superb, including at buffet (very varied) if you don’t fancy dine-around.

The decor is exquisite and the food is great…

We love the Sani Resort and have stayed at Porto Sani twice before – around 8 years ago. The staff without exception in the whole resort are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they really want to help. The decor is exquisite and the food is great. My only negative point would be around the number of small children in the hotel. I realise that its a family hotel, but we paid a lot of money to stay in a beautiful suite over looking the beach and infinity pool, and were plagued early morning and late at night (11.30pm) with the noise of screaming, crying children, whose parents thought it was okay to keep them up to the point of exhaustion every night so that they screamed themselves to sleep. The decor is such that the corridors echo and the rooms are not well insulated to this noise and that of furniture constantly scraping across the floor – I don`t know if this is because we were next to the cleaning cupboard, or if someone was moving beds in the room above us, but the noise seemed to be consistent every day. I would love to see the hotel make space for adults only, so – some part of the hotel and one of the outdoor pools, this would entice us to return.

Everything else was spot on, the travel arrangements were seamless, the private transfer from the airport to the resort was perfect! Would recommend Asterias Suite if you want less children, although it is far more expensive.

Restaurants very good, staff amazing everywhere…

Average room, very noisy. Very busy around pool/beach. Waited for sun beds on beach every day & couldn`t get a bed at the pool unless up & out at 7am! Restaurants very good, staff amazing everywhere, spotlessly clean in all public areas

Sani standards never disappoint but the Sani beach hotel can get busy (poolside etc).

Fantastic hotel and resort, particularly for those with young children…

Fantastic hotel and resort, particularly for those with young children. The hotel exterior is a little large and unsightly, but don`t let that put you off. Range of restaurants is impressive, most of which are included if you book full-board. Only slight negative is that there is very little of authentic Greece here, but if you are happy with that then we would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our holiday. We found all the staff at the hotel helpful, very friendly and always willing to do their best to provide anything you wanted. One particular member of staff, Georgia, was out outstanding. Food was of a good standard and plenty of choice. Plenty of things to do and the grandchildren particularly enjoyed playing on the beaches. Weather in the last week in October was not quite a good as we had hoped but this was not the hotel`s fault and nothing they could do about it. Two members of our party enjoyed the trip to the Vineyard. With two small children it was only possible to attend one of the evening events in the Garden Theater. We did enjoy this however it was a little cold as the weather was quite cold at night. Transfers from the airport to hotel and back again were efficient and comfortable. Overall a good holiday.

We spent a magical week at this hotel…

We spent a magical week at this hotel during the first week of September. From the moment we arrived, until we left, the service was exceptional. We were greeted on arrival with glasses of champagne and cold face towels. Exactly what was required as it was 36 degrees! It was the small touches like that, that made our stay so memorable. The staff could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were all incredibly friendly. The choice of restaurants in the dine around programme was extensive and the quality of food excellent. We chose to spend our days at the infinity pool, but you also had the choice of the beach or the larger main pool. There was also a great entertainment programme. The marina is beautiful, especially in the evening. The whole resort just has a lovely ambience and is spotless. It`s safe to say we had the best time ever and are already planning a return trip next year.
In addition the service we received from Travelbeam was also great. Their advisers are very knowledgeable and they go that extra mile to ensure your booking is managed to a high standard. An all round fantastice experience!

Wonderful hotel with super helpful staff. Everything is made easy, from the huge choice of fantastic restaurants, to the kids clubs, high quality evening theatre shows, beautiful pool and beaches. We would definitely go back and probably will.

Only thing that could be better at the hotel is the entertainment available for kids on rainy days. We had two stormy days and the indoor pool was not open to kids post 2pm, and the play rooms were average at best. For the size of hotel, it would massively benefit from something like an indoor softplay/creative play area.

Excellent hotel…

An excellent, clean and spacious hotel.
Great swimming pools and excellent beach with shallow water for 50 yards. The sea was as warm as the pools and crystal clear.
Food was good especially the buffet.
Best to book restaurants when you arrive at hotel as they were booked up quickly.
Staff were very polite and helpful.
Easy walking distance to marina, where there was a great crepe restaurant which cost around €30 for a family of 4 for lunch.

Very good…

I thought that the hotel was very good. The transfer from the airport went smoothly and we were provided with water for the journey. On arrival, the staff at the hotel were very welcoming. As we had arrived late, they had left a cold platter in our room and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch.
The standard of cleanliness was very high. We were pleased with our room which looked out onto one of the swimming pools.
Breakfast was excellent, although the Poseidon restaurant seemed extremely busy and full of very young children which was not enjoyable. As our youngest son was eleven, we were unable to eat in the Veranda restaurant (minimum age requirement of 12) and so booked into the Grill from the second day. This was lovely.
I enjoyed the choice of restaurants in the hotel and particularly in the Marina area. We were on half board and ate in a different restaurant each night. I had not appreciated before we went, that half board constituted a contribution only in most of the restaurants on the dine around option (possibly an oversight on my part).The food was of a very good standard, but I felt that the additional cost over and above the half board allowance was relatively high.
The pool areas were lovely with plenty of sun-loungers and parasols. The views from the beach were beautiful. We used the tennis courts and hired bikes – all of which was great.
In summary: we enjoyed the hotel and the resort with the Marina area, the staff were all excellent and the scenery was lovely. The only slightly negative comment from our perspective was that it was extremely popular with families with children under the age of 5 (ours were 13 and 11 and there appeared to be very few of this age range or higher). However, once we had worked out the best place to eat breakfast, this was only really an issue when we had bad weather one day and were forced inside into the lounge areas.
Finally, I was very impressed with the Travelbeam service. Sophie was very helpful and I have since booked a second holiday through her for next year.
