We booked fairly last minute

We booked fairly last minute and were allocated the 4 rooms together which was great. The rooms are in need of a refurb, appearing not to have been done for some time. Nothing wrong, but nothing with a wow factor either. Food: Mexican decent, Japanese: Everyone liked but service was a bit “in your face.” Sua – we all hated. Huge bones within meat, very offputting. You could say typically Spanish, but if the customers don’t like it, it’s time to rethink. Pool area service a bit hit and miss. You can’t see the staff. Towel service was good, beds were wet/damp from the night before as the bases are a sponge type. We did get replacements when we asked. Staff friendly, just not as efficient as many 5 stars.
